Tweed River and Rainforest Cruise - 4.5 Hours
Tweed Endeavour Cruises offers an unforgettable 4.5-hour return trip to Stott's Island, with a stopover at the riverside village of either Tumbulgum or Chinderah (tide dependant on which village we visit). Relax aboard the river cruiser the Golden Swan as you embrace the soothing surrounds of the resource rich Tweed River, lifeblood of an ecologically diverse former volcanic region known as the Green Cauldron, with the riverbank lined with sugar cane fields and lush rainforest. Under the watchful gaze of the ruggedly imposing Mt Warning you will be treated to a sumptuous on-board seafood or BBQ lunch.

Tweed Endeavour Cruises also runs a 2-hour morning tea cruise along Stott's Island to one of our riverside villages, Tumbulgum or Chinderah (tide dependent), so come and sample our renown hospitality. Enjoy locally grown coffee and tea on board, see the birds of prey being fed. Bring the binoculars as you are going to see an abundance of birdlife, a swag of tree species an,d of course, the imposing Mt Warning (Wollumbin). Follow the path of our pioneers and hear the region's history as it is handed down from our first settlers, our Aboriginal tribes.
Crabs and Yabbies Tour
Tweed Endeavour Cruises’ Crabs and Yabbies Tour is an exhilarating Australian interaction with nature where passengers are encouraged to ‘go overboard’ from our vessel Captain Bill’s Explorer. Revel in a hands-on day of entertainment as your pump yabbies, catch mudcrabs, feed the pelicans and tempt your luck with a line as you explore the Terranora Lakes' mangroves. And when you’ve worked up a hearty appetite amid serene surrounds, feast on the region’s best mudcrabs which go from pot to plate on Captain Bill’s back deck. It’s an experience you will treasure a lifetime!

Pot to Plate Adventure
JOIN Bundjalung Nation descendant Luther Cora, 'The Black Cockatoo', and professional crabber Nathan Hall on the unique 4-hour Australian Pot to Plate Adventure. Exclusive to TEC, be briefed on the region's evocative past as Luther and the crabber take you into the heart of mudcrab headquarters, the Terranora Lakes mangrove system. Exclusive to just 10 guests per tour, guests will retrace the traditional hunting steps of the region's first inhabitants, visit an oyster farm for a tasting session and board a customised runabout in pursuit of the crabber's hidden secrets before the ultimate dining experience ... on a sand bank feasting on a sumptuous seafood harvest presented with the freshest Tweed produce! It’s an intimate nature rush where you haul in the crabs pots, pump for yabbies (bait), explore a deserted island and capture a thousand photos.
CELEBRATE the end of the working week with a 3-hour cruise on the Terranora Lakes and Tweed River exploring waterways and enjoying a mighty meal at the riverside Chinderah Tavern, a venue constantly in the gaze of Mt Warning. Raise your glasses to a Saturday-Sunday stress buster!
